ELDK27 is not run by a conference company. It is run by four people with day jobs — and a big love for this community.
We are practitioners: consultants, architects, MVPs and an RD. In the evenings and weekends we negotiate venue contracts, plan rooms, chase speaker travel, count catering and make the thousand small decisions that turn into two days for 1,500 people.
Why do we do it?
- Because this is the conference we wanted to attend — and Denmark did not have one. Deep content, honest speakers, no sales pitches on the main stage.
- Because the community gave us so much. Most of what we know, we learned from someone who took the time to share it. Learn. Share. Grow. — that is the whole idea.
- Because of the moments in the hallway. The question after a session, the reunion with old colleagues, the new contact that turns into a project, a job or a friendship.
- Because every krone goes back into the event. No parent company, nobody paid to organize. Tickets and sponsorships pay for a better venue, better speakers, better food — and a ticket price an IT professional can actually get approved.
